In Canvas, you can use a tool called Studio to record and directly submit your videos to assignments.

To submit videos in discussions using Studio: 1) Open Canvas Studio, 2) Determine Your Recording Type, 3) Record Your Video, 4) Submit Your Assignment

1) Open Canvas Studio

Click on Studio in you Canvas Global Navigation.

2) Determine Your Recording Type

Before you start recording, decide if you need to do a Screen Capture or a Webcam recording. Use the following definitions to help you decide and then move on to the record step.

• Screen Capture - Records your computer screen, ideal for PowerPoint presentations or showcasing you doing something in a program or website.
• Webcam Video - Records only your webcam, your computer screen is not displayed.

3) Record Your Video
