The official CTL Blog Compelled to Teach will welcome a number of LBC | Capital faculty contributors writing about the intersections between teaching, learning, and our Christian faith.
Articles are very short form and designed to provide new ideas, encouragement, and conversation starters amidst your busy day. Look for links to each new post from the Center for Teaching & Learning Canvas group announcements throughout the semester.
This exciting opportunity provides a chance to meet and collaborate with colleagues from every institution in the county and beyond around issues in higher education teaching and learning. Stay tuned to the CTL Canvas announcements for further information on keynote speaker.
Join colleagues for our annual Spring workshop on April 21. Opportunities to collaborate, hear new ideas, embrace shared challenges, and encourage one another in the excellent work of faithful Christian teaching, scholarship, and service. Further information to come.
As always, the CTL offers one-on-one or group consultation on a variety of instructional levels or topics. If you are stuck brainstorming assessment ideas, struggling with a particular part of your classroom, or looking for new ideas, please reach out to ctl@lbc.edu.
All new full-time faculty are required to attend these bi-weekly sessions as an opportunity to build relationships and get to know the unique context and culture of LBC | Capital.
Find resources, how-to videos, and readings on current needs relating to higher education and Christian teaching practices.
